I was playing catch with this old man using apples. Each time someone caught the apple they’d take a bite out of it before tossing it back. We continued to do this until all we had left was an apple core.

I’ve chosen the college I’m going to attend this fall and I want to continue learning sign, although I suppose learning spanish should be my priority. If the classes for it aren’t very expensive I may take them. If the classes are too expensive then I guess I’ll have to drop it for a couple of years seeing as I don’t want to take out a huge loan.

At least I know how to ask if someone’s deaf…and if they could fingerspell or write out what they want. Fingerspelling can save the day if you’re having trouble communicating. One year of classes taught me at least enough to do that much.

The total of my knowledge is probably between 50-80 words.

They will run screaming for their lives if they meet a vampire.

Even if you think you can become one without hesitating many balk at the idea of being turned when a vampire wakes you up in the middle of the night to either a) welcome you into the fold, or b) at the very least take some blood from someone so naive.

Many don’t know that they’ve been taken advantage of because a typical bite mark is very tiny…like two small freckles in appearance. The two pinpricks once healed make the skin raised…like having the beginnings of a mole as when fingers brush against them you can feel them.

The thing is that 99.9% of the time you aren’t on your way to becoming a vampire your instead on your way to becoming dinner. So trying to gain attention from vampires is like suicidally jumping in the lion’s den screaming EAT ME!

The bite itself won’t turn you. So even if your attacked as long as your not drained so much that you’d die of blood loss you’ll be fine. You won’t have to run around panicking about the sun rising as being bitten doesn’t mean anything other than you ought to sleep and eat a lot until you feel better.

Vampires aren’t buddy-buddy they will scare the hell out of you more often than not.

Reply: I’ve had the dream about losing my teeth although it was so long ago all I remember was the general thought that it was scary.

If I remember right teeth falling out is supposed to mean you feel helpless… about what I don’t know.

Does anyone else dream of vampires being around? I’ve never dreamed of actually being the vampire…it’s always been me meeting vampires in my dreams.

I had a dream once where I was on a bus (supposedly on the way home) and I met the eyes of a vampire who upon spotting him smiled at me. He tapped his fangs twice with a finger in a mock salute. For some reason I copied him without really thinking about it.

All the other dreams involving vampires are usually the whole blood sucking bit. It’s like you forget you have a voice in your dream as they take what they want before leaving you shaking and scared. That for me is one of the few dreams I consider nightmares because I usually wake up after them.
